How do you maintain this new healthy eating/living lifestyle during monthly hormonal peaks and valleys?How do you prevent from trading smoothies and celery for Doritos and French fries? Hello Blog Nation! I won't be much help to the dieters today due to the fact the I have a huge lunch that I'm about to devour. Sorry..lol however I will be on board next week for Wellness Wednesday due to I am going on a strict diet so I can fit my Wedding Dress I just found yesterday. I am so EXCITED! So due me a favor Ms.Truth Serum post a couple of those SMOOTHIE recipies so that I may join you on the quest for good health and fitness. I have a goal I need to reach so LETS DO THIS! Yeah this is a bad day. I even installed the Chipolte app on my phone so I wouldn't have to stand in line. ~holding my head in shame~ I really don't have a taste for anything healthy right now.It's strange, my taste buds are a total mess right now! smh

It's very difficult during that time. I say eat the bad food and resume healthy eating later. Satisfying the urge even if it's two chips, or a bite of a snickers, however letting the desire linger makes you want more of it and when you give in you will over indulge.

I wish I could just eat 2 chips or a bite of snickers during that time. I could be fine all month, but the week before, I am messed up! Girl, I could eat a whole bag of the snickers mini bites!!!! My son knows exactly what time it is, when he sees certain things around the house. lol

Well here goes I am a man so dont know hormonal changes...lol but been around enough health stuff to know that you can supplement those bad snacks for good ones if you crave salty and sweet but want a crunch do raisins and nuts (no pun) and that will get you what you need. You want creamy like ice cream freeze your favorite yogurt and enjoy...those are a few but ENJOY

That sounds good and I've tried it. The nuts are definitely a substitute for the salty craving. I like the raisin and cranberry mix. Unfortunately, yogurt cannot hold a candle to COLDSTONE BIRTHDAY PARTY REMIX!!!!!! BOOOOOOMMMMMM~ I'm so ashamed!!!!!!!

I am battling my food cravings as well! I go in and eat ridiculously about four days before that cycle and then am dripped with much regret. Nuts and Raisin are not on the radar at all....
