Funny
There are different definitions for the word funny. It can mean humorous, witty or comical. Funny can also mean that something is wrong, unpleasant, or should be taken seriously. Funny also can be regarded as strange, or peculiar. The irony about the word funny is that we sometimes use it in a context when things are the total opposite. Sometimes when we hit the rewind button in our mind and recall past events of a situation, we realize that the information that we ignored was exactly the information that we just found out was true all along. It’s funny how we dismiss the context clues of the truth only to have to revisit the lie once again. Funny thing is people work harder trying to prove a lie instead of just being honest. What they don’t realize is that the truth always reveals itself whether it takes 2 days or 2 years. The longer a lie is carried out, the more damage is done to a person’s character. People often say that “The Truth Will Set You Free”, well so will the dishonesty. Freedom comes with knowing that some people are habitual liars and the smartest thing to do is believe that every story they have ever told or will ever tell is propaganda. What they don’t realize is that the tangled web that they weaved when they practiced their deceit has now entrapped them. Now that’s FUNNY!!!!! Lol
No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence. Psalm 101:7
You destroy those who tell lies; bloodthirsty and deceitful men the LORD abhors. Psalm 5:6
Better to be poor than a liar. Proverbs 19:22
He whose tongue is deceitful falls into trouble. Proverbs 17:20
Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment. Proverbs 12:19
The righteous hate what is false, but the wicked bring shame and disgrace. Proverbs 13:5
The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. Proverbs 11:3
In other words, “TELL THE TRUTH”!!!!!
