Smart Phones/Devices vs. Not So Smart Users-
Why does it seem like many people do not use their smart devices to the full potential? What can smart phone users do to maximize the full potential of their devices?

Well I guess I'll start off the discussion since I posed the question. Personally, I am fascinated with technology. I believe it is very innovative and it challenges us to interact with our devices. I always utilize the owners manual when I purchase a new device. Actually, I watch videos on youtube even before the device comes out. There are many other videos and blogs about smart devices. You can check out things like appearance, performance, popularity, cost, etc. The retail price for a really good smart device is around $600 or more. If I'm gonna pay that much for a phone on a payment plan or outright, I wanna make sure I'm getting the most bang for my buck.

Personally I am just not as fascinated with the new technology. As long as I can make and receive calls, google, map quest and a good pic, I'm good. I' a bit behind in the times regarding all the new technology. My 9 yr old is a guru when it comes to the phones and computers. I just have basic needs when it comes to that kind of stuff.

Don't knock it til' you try it! It's so fascinating once you learn about it. The phones are really portable computers. Depending on the phone, the cameras are amazing. I can do all kinds of stuff and I use from 2 to 3 devices at the same time everyday. The Jetsons are no longer a fantasy cartoon, it's real and we are now doing all of the things that seemed impossible back then. Leave a Reply. |
